Q: What outside items can inmates bring into the jail?
A: On their initial visit, inmates can bring in their prescription medications and cash. Cash is only received at the time of booking; all other money must be given to inmates in the form of a money order. Please keep the original receipts for money orders since the jail does not issue receipts.
Q: Where can I find a list of bail persons or bond persons?
A: A list of bail persons and bond persons is posted on a television monitor in the lobby of the jail.
Q: Am I qualified to participate in home electronic monitoring?
A: A participant’s social and criminal history must suggest a high probability of successful completion of the program. No inmate returning from the Department of Corrections may participate in this program unless authorized by the Department of Corrections and the sheriff. Q: If an in inmate is released, what happens to his or her property?
A: The individual has seven business days to pick up personal property. Inmates have to designate an individual to pick up property in seven business days and fill out a property release form; the designee has to show photo identification upon picking up the inmate’s property.
